Joining the CLIMA project of ACIMIT (the Italian Association of Textile Machinery Manufacturers) and obtaining the CLIMA Certification is simple: just follow the few steps below.
Memorandum of understanding
Undersigning a Memorandum of Understanding with ACIMIT to state the participant’s commitment to evaluate and reduce the environmental impact of the technology produced, following the principals and rules presented in details in the CLIMA Terms of Reference.
In order to certify the technologies, the participants must access the dedicated CLIMA Certification Tool thanks to the unique username and password received at the time of the signature of the Memorandum of Understanding.
A detailed operative report template is available within the tool in order to provide evidence on how the requested parameters have been measured.
All CLIMA labels emitted at the end of the evaluation procedure are periodically subject to verification by a third party certification body (RINA) according to a standardized and certified procedures. The verification positive outcome determines the emission of a collective Certificate of Conformity.
